Ravindra Nath Rai spent 30 years at Tata Chemicals Ltd., one of India's most respected industrial organizations. He worked across departments including Materials Management — gaining deep expertise in procurement, inventory control, vendor management, and large-scale business operations.
During the SAP implementation at Tata Chemicals, he was a key team member from the business side — learning what makes an ERP truly useful for daily operations, and what gaps exist for smaller businesses that cannot afford enterprise-scale solutions.
After his career at Tata Chemicals, he saw that small and mid-sized Indian businesses were still struggling — managing crores of business in Excel sheets, handwritten registers, and WhatsApp forwards. He decided to build something better.
